timmy's is nasty...but if i don't have at least ONE large DD a day, i get headachy and snarly...i'm convinced it's laced with heroine or something similar that keeps us all addicted...
i'm just north of toronto, btw...little place called keswick. grew up in the west end of toronto (etobicoke) and then moved up here...but now i want to go back...i miss my downtown life... :(
nothing much ever happens up here, with the exception of the occasional cow tipping, and small town life is actually not as nice as people make it seem....lol

I always say I'd like the country for the peace and quiet, the tight knit community (for the sake of the children) and well, the distance from the real world
However, we KNOW we are VERY much city people. The convenience is awesome. There about a million things to do here, we are always up to something...I can walk to work, shops, malls, etc. There are 3 major highways nearby. Along the streetcar line. There are little gift shops, parks, lake etc.

Love living on the outskirts of the big city...

peace and quiet...sure...you should hear the police helicopter at night buzzing the area...and the spotlight they have is quite bright when you are trying to sleep...lol. and don't fool yourself...tight knit=gossipy/petty. everyone knows everyone's business...and that's not always a good thing...

Round of Timmy's?? Don't make promises you don't plan to keep. I'd like a fruit explosion muffin as well while you're there please.

I ended up in Keswick by accident once. Tried to get from the 404 to the 400... long story. It seemed nice. Simcoe can get crazy in the summer though.
