@Oggleleus: Yup, same here. Every time I make a mistake I blame it on my LDs and think I'm stupid and I that I would rather not be human.

I still hate being human.

i think i've perfected looking like i'm listening & interested even when i've drifted away. the problem is coming up with small talk, & resisting the temptation to just launch into a lecture on my interests.

I recently found I had a talent for just talking to random people. The problem comes in this. If i know the person for 30 sec more i can be myself cause hey, if I say something I will feel bad but it won't affect my life in the future.

Someone that does fall in that category of long time know forward, like people I know a lot better, around these people I gat scared, confused and generally try to be on best behaviour. With them I can't sozialize

Being the one with the accent, in a noisy kitchen that's populated with lazy listeners.

Small talk, and keeping it flowing. I usually end up listening to witless banter with my body language blaring disinterest.

People being deceptive.

Sarcasm is one thing because people use delibrately blatant tone of voice when being sarcastic, so that's easy to detect.
But why do people have to lie so much? If honesty is the best policy, why is it abandoned in favor of politeness?
