Why do you think you can call someone 'Emo' with no repercussions?

Because there is no other identifier noun for the emo personality, AND there are several members who happily accept the 'Emo' label.

For instance, there are the words "Afro-American," "African-American," and "Black" for describing a person of the "Negro" race, but there is only one word for an "Emo" person.

I am glad I see fnords.

I agree with Brunny on this one when it comes to the guy's nasty behavior. However, another friend of mind thinks that he is not interested in us which I also agree with her on. I also believe that he is agreeing to go to the movies with us because he has a thing about going to movies alone. In his case, he always has to have someone with him. However, if he doesn't get to see that movie in the first place, then my friend gets an attitude if you ask him with a, "No, because no one went to see it with me. " Or it will be, "I got stuck watching your movie." However, he usually sits through a movie and pouts the whole time.

Then it seems that no matter how you look at his relationship to you, you are better off without him.

Good call.

Yep, and not only that, he is 33 years old, has a good job, and even is an eligible bachlorette. However, he is getting self-absorbed as he has all those things and has the tendency to think he's better. He also can't seem to keep a girl and now I know why. For one thing, he has the tendency to find all the things wrong with them. For example, he was going out with one of my best friends and decided that she was too, "Annoying," because she liked to imitate Anne Hathway in "The Princess Diaries." Beyond that, he has major communication issues and got mad at me when I told him to work on that.
