Any members in the Reno/Nevada/California area who might be interested in a meetup?

Oh, hello. <:

I've organized a support group in West Springfield, Mass (01089) that's going to meet at the West Springfield Public Library. We'll be changing times and places for future meetings, but our first will be Saturday, September 6th, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at the library on 200 Park Street.

We'll be sharing introductions to our own personal experiences as well as resources for Asperger's Syndrome and autism in the area. Walk-ins from anyone with AS or their allies are welcome. <:

This group is for all adults, but we plan to eventually hold meetings specifically for academic support for college students and another for adults 25+, depending on interest.

I don't want to post my phone number on the Internet, but anyone interested can message me. We're small so far, but hopefully growing.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Hey, I sympathize-am in same boat (yet in different, distant locale)-as are many of us, it seems.

Checked the overall "MeetUp" site & there was hardly anything listed in my town, certainly no aspie groups-alas. Additional impediment is that I can't drive, so even things happening an hour or two away (in larger urban area) are too far away for me to attend. Frustrating.

Not sure which thread mentioned WP map for members to make note of their locations-but when I tried to use that it never finished loading page, and I couldn't get it to work.

I have really been quite anti social of late sorry about that.

We haven't had a London meet in ages, not counting the regular meet up in Hammersmith which should be still running on every fortnight Thursdays hopefully. But I mean we haven't had a weekend meet up in ages.

Would any of you be interested in meeting in October? I can't do the 4th or 18th.

Well it looks like the 18th is free afterall. What do people have in mind?

I can't do the 11th and 25th.

How about a meet up on the weekend of the 18th? Any preference for Saturday or Sunday?

f I can come the Saturday 18th is fine.

The Sunday has one event but I might come after that if I am not too tired.

Great. How’s it going? Been a while :)

I think I'll pm some of the usual suspects, give them a nudge then take it from there.
