I've often wondered about that myself, why he doesn't seem to care how close I am to her. I know for one the moment he met me all I ever did was talk about my friend etc, because it was during the bad times that I met him, so that has always been there with me, so from day one it was part of who I was/am.
And, frankly, he has a lot of Asperger's tendencies himself; we are very similar in many ways, ways that I have discovered actually likely pinpoint me as having Apserger's. I've told him that I think he might have it too but he scoffs.... still, I think it's there. Which would go a long way in explaining a lot of things with him. I think I'm going to try to get him to take that unofficial quiz too, to see how he scores.
