A whole lot of nothing. I'll wait a couple more days.

You do actually have friends who use facebook don't you?

Consider changing your status to something like: "doesn't believe that anyone really exists on facebook since they don't talk to me..."

If you don't update your status a bit, you'll drift to the bottom of the pile of notifications and never get noticed.

About thirty friends on there, twenty if I don't count the co-workers and wife's relatives. I changed the update to some random song I heard on the radio. They have commented on previous posts - but there seems to be no pattern behind it. I'm guessing the reason it nags at me is that while I don't want constant feedback (which is possibly worse then NO feedback) I would like at least some acknowledgment that others are attentive to my efforts.

Of course, now that I'm posting here it hasn't bothered me as much as it used to. I'm not sure if it's ironic that Aspies are more social with me then my NT friends are, or disturbing to find that the popular social networks aren't social-able enough for me. Either way, I'm still glad that I'm stumbled upon Wrong Planet.

I have it but I rarely use it, most of the time, if I know someone IRL, and I want to talk to them, I usually have them on an instant messenger of some sort I can contact them on. And even then, I only have 2 friends that fall in that category.
