Not since i was really young... I understand why its considered a big deal... but it seems the same as any other day really...

My last birthday i was halfway through a pretty big landscaping job... and the weather was really good to get alot of it done fast... so i got up at 5:30 in the morning to start 6-8 hours of manual labour... then after i got through most of that i went straight home for a nap and woke up again to go to work at the pizza shop untill about 9:30pm... everyone thought i was crazy not having the day off... but i wanted monies :)

No.
I had birthday parties when I was very young; like 1-9 years old, or something like that.
Ever since, I haven't liked the idea of throwing birthday parties as big crowds makes me very uncomfortable.

Small social gatherings with 2 or 3 good friends is fine. Overblown alcohol-fests with 40+ guests, with a trashed house to reassemble the following morning: no thanks.

my sweet 16 was the last 'real' one. for some reason, I was always only allowed one friend and as much as I wanted to invite my NT BFF (still FB friends after graduation) this other 'friend' who turned out to be violent talked me into inviting her (i think i was scared that if I said 'no' she would hurt me. 8O that was the issue with me in school whenever a classmate with an IEP came up to me wanting to be my friend, I would say ok and things would be fine until later then they would turn out to be a creepy stalker like the one 'friend' i had in middle school or a total monster. that or they would never leave me alone when i was talking to people i could associate with on my level. this even happened in my vocational program. ) my 21st bday party was what i consider the cheapest bday ever! first off, i don't remember where we went for dinner and when we got home my "Birthday cake" was a HOSTESS CUPCAKE!! :x (I'm a high maitenance aspie when it comes to parties! I don't want no SNACK CAKE!! *throws*)
my 20th bday was the year Michael Jackson died (Rest in Peace MJ  Burn in Hell Conrad Murray! ) so the family took me to see the Michael Jackson movie "This is it" (about his tour he was going to do but never got to do because he died)
and we went to Chili's after (yummy!) my 'cake' was a dessert from the restaurant (mmmm chocolate cake and hot fudge!!)
So far my 20th bday was the best one since it involved my three favorite things: Michael Jackson, Cajun Chicken pasta, and chocolate (lots and lots of chocolate! :P )

Idk, Today's my 22nd bday so the party not till tonight. We're going to Red Lobster (yum Shrimp!) more from me later.

I haven't thrown a birthday party since I turned 16. Usually I celebrate at my parents' house or friends will take me out to dinner, etc.
