I can't say that I like being alone, it's just my natural requirement. Like I won't say that I like drinking or breathing. I just need to be alone with my thoughts like I need food or even more. I can miss lunch without problem, but if I don't get enough time of solitariness every day I'll feel really bad.

I enjoy being alone. I need privacy, although I also enjoy social things that aren't too draining (people I know, not too crowded, not too noisy). My dream is to retire/work on a houseboat or isolated area and spend most of my days by myself and self-sufficient.

I do prefer being on my own most of the time. If I can't be alone for some time I get cranky and hard to deal with. Luckily I've been living on my own the last couple of years, I do try to be social with people at my work, like watching a movie with them. But I often end up not getting to much out of it.

For me to enjoy being with someone it has to be someone I can relate to, someone I know how to speak to and someone I feel comfortable with. Unfortunately there are very few of those. =/

But yea, most of the time I do enjoy being on my own, people tend to get on my nerves.

Oh, I'm 15, but I quite love the idea of living alone. I have plans to bunk with my friend, but I value my me time. I'm always at my happiest when everyone else is gone.

Sometimes I'm at my happiest when I'm alone.

I very much do like being alone at times but other times I am happy to be around people and in a very small minority of times I more want to be with people.

I have AS and I like to be alone a lot too. I need a lot of alone time and I enjoy doing many things alone and sometimes I just need a break from social interactions and other people, because it can be pretty exhausting to deal with people sometimes.

However, I don't want to be alone all the time. I want to be with people sometimes too, have friends that I can do things with or talk to.

I do get lonely sometimes, because I barely have anyone at all in my life. I have my husband and pretty much nobody else, so when I do want to spend time with other people or talk to someone, I can't. I'm on my own and can't seem to make new friends or connect with anyone.

I'm never more lonely though than when I'm amongst a lot of other people who are all ignoring me or who I can't seem to connect or interact with much.

I like to be alone, but it can get very lonely sometimes. I wish I could interact with others and have better friendships, but I'm very hot and cold. I'm selfish and aloof sometimes and I can't be that if I'm trying to make friends.

I like being alone sometimes. I like being with people sometimes. I suspect most people, extroverts and introverts alike, are that way.

Unfortunately, it seems I only ever get to be alone.
