Uh oh, according to Jeffrey Pfeffer's Power: Why Some People Have It and Others Don't, many people who rank high on the social totem pole have the tendency to interrupt others during conversations because these people are eager to show off how powerful they are. (E.g. "Hey, I'm powerful enough to interrupt you!")
