In case of the roommate situation, I was only 20 and did not pick up on certain things that most adults do at that time.
Both of my roommates were in their late 20's and were frustrated that I did not meet up to certain things by a specific age. In fact, the younger of the two was more of a bully than the eldest.
Getting back to the bullying, she yelled at me one week out before her birthday and manipulated and lied to me by telling me that she was having birthday a party and that people 21 and over could go to the party and I could not. Then she proceeded to tell me that this party was going on for three whole days with drinking and sleeping on the couches. I found out that she just spent Friday night out.
