This is going to be as hard as hell, but the best thing is to try and forget about her, focus on those in your life worthwhile.

Don't like the sound the girl at all, some really objectionable people out there and she is sounding like one of them.

Also, for goodness sake, don't take it personally, she is the problem, not you.

Yeah maybe it would be good to just focus on your own life. Your sister at this point obviously wants nothing to do with you. But in the future who knows. Sometimes even people who close themselves off are able to have a change of heart through space and reflection. That may happen with your sister.

I know I can't take it personally because my sister has a chip on her shoulder and not just with me either. There are a lot of people in our family that she does not like over this or that. She also is an extremely miserable person as well.

I personally have had a friend who having done something serious I hated for a number of years but have since gotten over that after a long time. Maybe that is what your sister needs. Its just that when you have a cloud of negative emotion towards someone it is hard to see beyond that but it can cool over time. I don't know how forgiving your sister is but I wouldn't say that she is closed off to you forever.

I know you say she is miserable but apart from that what is it like being around her do you enjoy talking with her?

When she is not angry, my sister has been known to be pleasant and funny.

Hey and if you succeed in reigniting your relationship with her than maybe you have got that to look forward to.

You should be celebrating that your nasty sister blocked you on Instagram! Stop trying to win the favor of nasty people. It will only cause you lots of unhappiness and stress. If you hear about milestones in a nasty relative's life, just drop a line or E-card, to be civil, but don't ever expect a response. If you are at a family gathering and run into a nasty person, just say hello in passing, and go hang out with nicer people there, or hang out alone at the event. You are not obligated to keep subjecting yourself to interactions with nasty people. Just let this situation go, and live your own life.
