Can you be more clear with "open body language"?

Sure :D

arms will tend to be open rather than closed across the chest, shoulders facing the other person, looking up and at the person rather than away from him or at the floor, if standing, feet facing the person, etc.

Thanks! THat helps! I do tend to look at the floor quite a lot, even though its only because my co-ordination is poor enough that I cannot walk in a straight line without looking at the floor in front of me!

The danger with following rules like this is that you meet someone, you think they're great, and then you try to act more like yourself and they hate you.

By the time this happens I have already had sex with the girl
Tired of being a nice guy. This way is so much better.

This seems to be a strong argument, even though I really love to be myself too! 8O

It's funny because when I sit and think about it, I know all of the unwritten rules. It's just that when I'm actually living, I can't follow them. There's a part of me that refuses to change my personality. When I do try, I end up feeling awful inside, like there's no point in being popular if it's someone else and not really me.
.

Yeah, I am with you. If I sit and concentrate and think hard, I do know what to say and do, to be sociallly reciprocal, just like in the movies. But day to day, I don't remember it. I cannot process it during real life interaction. It is just too much! yeah, Id have to say I agree with you. 8)

I am for sure I am not an expert in such rules, anyway I follow it very better than when I tryed hard to follow it. I think most of the secret to follow it, is to relax. (although to relax we mustn't think: I must relax now!! !)
