i like their donuts but i've had much better. i think they used to be better when they didn't use frozen dough, but there are a lot of places that have better doughnuts than timmy's, they just aren't quite as accessible (as in there are 2 or 3 timmy's on campus, but nothing else). as for the coffee, i'm not a huge fan of it. i drink mine black and there just isn't enough flavour in Tim Horton's coffee for me. i also don't drink it often, don't want to get addicted to caffeine like all my friends and family, but when i do i like to get a good strong cup of coffee.

i do go to timmy's for breakfasts occasionally though, usually get a bagel, but the other day the lineup was so long i actually resorted to going to Rooster's (the student run coffee place, it's full of artsies so you don't see too many engineering students in there), it was expensive.

sorry for the random tangent, it's late (well, it's 9pm, but i've got to wake up at 4:15 so it's late for me), i tend to do that when i'm tired.

Ya I don't like the frozen doughnuts either, it was a bad business move on Timmy's part.

well since most people go there for coffee, it's not a terrible move on their part because it's not their main selling point. also that whole shift toward healthier and healthier food makes people even less likely to go there specifically for doughnuts. they're mainly marketing their sandwiches, breakfasts, wraps, etc. since they give the Tim Horton's name a healthier image, and they don't need to advertise the coffee since everyone knows about it. i don't like the decision but it probably saved them some money (can make massive batches at a centralized location and ship them out) and didn't sour people's opinion of them enough to kill sales. good business decision, bad taste decision.

We had those Crispy Cream's here in Calgary but they bombed big time, they were freshly
made donuts but they covered in this wet icing, they were no competition to Tim's

Almost all The Canadians I have talked to on the internet love to bash Americans and religion. I remeber when The LHC was growing concern, Canada was wetting itself in excitement and were determined to convert everyone to support it. That's just my expreience though.
