I'm a pretty fast walker.
Someone from the local sports team talked to me about recruitment.

I politely declined.

Can't say for everyone else, but personally, I am a fast walker. People have told me that in the past, including my family. I also have a tendency to accelerate when I see people (but only while walking! I don't have that when driving, or cycling, or riding a motorbike, and find it very odd myself).

I, too, am a fast walker! My mother always complained about it, as have my friends and my husband. Walking quickly is very soothing to me, and it's often easier for me to talk to people when I'm walking, especially if there is some confrontation involved.

Yes, I make it a point to let another person set the pace when I'm with someone but when I'm alone I walk very quickly. I believe that this is due to both my social anxiety and because I'm on a mission to go or get what I want. I hate when I go into a store with a list of things to buy and have to navigate around lollygaggers.

Oh my god! I walk fast too, I hate it when people slow me down! I only walk slowly when I am with someone.

I walk super-fast as well. I don't want people in the streets to talk to me. Panhandlers are annoying me. I don't trust anyone. I don't want to talk to anyone.

Yeah, I'm very fast paced. And I have a strange tendency to step according to music's time signatures. I think it's the 2/2 measure. Here is a song to serve as an example (skip to 0:09):

I'm surprised I hadn't replied to this yet.

I don't notice it when I'm walking and consider it 'normal speed' for me but on the occasion when I'm walking to place(like a certain building or something) with my mom she tells me to slow down and not walk so fast. I usually walk alone and am just trying to get from point A to point B. Sure sometimes I admire the things around me as I walk but not if I'm walking to an office for an appointment or to the store to buy food so I can eat.

I always walk fast too, but I try not to when I'm walking with people/when people see me because I hate it when people make remarks about it.

I've always been a fast walker too. I never thought it could be linked to anxiety or AS though.

Yes I'm a very fast walker. I think it has more to do with punctuality, being inpatient, anxiety, and wanting to be exact and on time wherever we go. I hate slow walkers, I hate slow people who lollygag and take forever to do stuff. My mom is one of those, but I don't hate her lol. I was always late in high school when my mom drove me. But now that I'm in college I was never late a day. so it has more to do with us just wanting to be somewhere right now.

I walk really quickly. I think it's because NTs walk slowly so that they can converse with friends. When alone it's more practical to walk quickly, as well.

i walk fast too. I'll do it when walking into class and walking to my car. I wonder how many people pick up on it.
