Do you think it would be a good idea to be oblivious extrovert like Michael Scott from Office? I mean if your going to be out of place, people might as well think its a choice and your acting for attention. If your going to be laughed at, might as well be a clown. You need to detach yourself from it. He has no real friends yet hes very social.

Slight adaptation to that.
I'm a nice guy. When I'm on your side.
When I'm not, I'm your worst enemy.
I speak my mind, am not a yesman.
I also say things people sometimes don't care about.
Or do things they may not like.

They don't laugh, usually. But I am respected for my openness and concistency. Oh and I am funny. And arrogant.

I'm not oblivious, I just don't care about other people's opinions.

This may lead to disapproval, but it is either temporary(like any good argument), or the people are zombies. And you don't want to befriend zombies.

How can I be more like Michael Scott from the Office and be less self-aware and more clownish and thickskinned?

Enamdar, there are a couple things I'd like to say to you. Firstly, I am someone who used to make others laugh because of my completely lack of awareness of how I was coming off to others, and trust me, it's not something you want to do. People will be making fun of you behind your backs, setting you up in bad situations, and will only pretend to like you because they find your antics amusing. Secondly, you asked in your last post how you can achieve that level of lack of self-awareness. The truth is, your asking that question means you will not be able to accomplish that goal. You are already aware of the outcome you want, and will know fully what you're doing if you begin to act like a clown. The charm of Michael Scott lies in the fact that he really, truly believes everyone thinks he's funny and loves him, whereas if you began acting that way, you would be doing it with the INTENT of being "oblivious." It would not work out for you, as your inner thoughts and outer appearance would not be congruent with one another. Hope that helps!
