I look for friends who are polite and well mannered and friends who have enough money or possessions so they don't ask me for anything! :)

Kinds of people I prefer to associate with are the weird, the nerdy, the intelligent, the humerous, everything but Normal. My experiences with "Normal" are far from satisfactory results.

I look for someone who is kind, open-minded, caring, understanding, and a good listener, but also goofy and lighthearted. I like people who like to do simple random things, and I especially like people who can have fun without drinking.

It would be easier for me to write about the type of person who I could not be friends with as I get on with most types of people due to my naturally understanding nature. All my friends are different ranging from confident to shy, chatty to quiet, normal thinking to weird etc. Most personality traits are totally cool with me.

I like friends who are logical, don't mock your understandings and are interested in computer games (Mainly DS games). But most of all - A BEST FRIEND IS ONE WITH ASPERGER'S. :D

I like friends that are honest, and I don't have to explain to them why they can't call me during primetime on Sci-Fi Friday.

Yeah, same. Besides, "normal" people, IMHO, are boring. I like people who are quirky, and aren't afraid to be so.

I've always been looking for a funny, smart, good looking person that's into some of the same things I am who loves to talk. Honest, good natured, real.

Somebody who will treat me like an Equal. Somebody who can appreciate my Eccentric ways. Somebody who isn't put off by unusual Accents. Somebody who knows a lot about Autism Spectrum Disorders, so that he/she won't be put off by my strange behaviours. Someone who talks sense that I can have an Intelligent conversation with. Somebody who appreciates my Intelligence and presumes Knoledge when the look at me, instead of Cluelessness. A person who isn't so much into Mainstream Popular Culture that they are put off by people who aren't Mainstream.

For me I look for those of like the same things I like. Are able to listen to me and not ignore me. For some reason I like having or trying to have friends that are girls. I don't really get along with others of my same sex. I've made many friends who are girls but that was when I was still in a Voc Rehab center that's where I met my fiance'. I think I'm getting off the subject here a little. Mostly the people who aren't popular.

I only care about one thing about my friends; being a good friend. I don't care if my friends are athletic, academic, anime fans, popular, unpopular, etc. As long as they treat me like I'm their friend, it's good.

I have to click with a person, though I met someone yesterday with whom I'd like to become friends. At least, from what I've seen of him, anyway - it's difficult to describe. Musical (which always helps; some common ground there) fairly witty, friendly, quite happy-go-lucky, and accepting of people's foibles. That's the best I can do for a general description!
