Does it upset any one when friends delete you from their friends list on sites like facebook and myspace?

I have more than 350 friends on myspace and really, I've only met less than 20% of them in real life. I keep a friendventory so that if anyone delete me or that I see my count drop and can go look to see who it was.

On Facebook I have about 120 friend all who I know in real life, but as usual for us aspies I don't really have an active social life, so for real, we're more like to communicate online than in real life. I haven't lost many friends on facebook, but sometimes it does happen like it did tonight. I girl that I knew from my ballet class that I met in the fall just deleted me this evening after I sent her a message earlier. it hurts sometimes.

It does, huh? That's why I deleted mine. But it happens to everybody.

People do stuff like that for whatever reason. Keep in mind that reason may have nothing to do with you - they might be having a bad day or something like that. Unless someone sends you a message telling you to bugger off (or words to that effect), I wouldn't take it too personally.

You do seem to have a lot of friends altogether so be grateful for that.

If people just drop you out of the blue, then don't worry about it, especially if you don't know them in real life.

Being dropped after sending a message is probably not a coincidence though; maybe you could examine what you wrote and see if it could be offensive. Alternatively, just ask the girl next time you see her.
