Well first of all I left school a week into second semester, and that's a whole animal in itself that's pretty much done with, although it did lead me to seek treatment for anxiety that I've probably put off too long.
I've been home a while now and have been finding some constructive work in the house and the yard, while making plans to look for a job (part or full time) and some local schools to take classes in this fall.
My parents suggested I meet some people while I'm back. I know a few guys who are still local, but basically I'm embarrassed about where I am-- I withdrew from school after one semester, I live with my family (feels different after living alone), got no job yet, never even got my license (still working on a permit, while I'm here). Besides, over winter break when I met some friends, they pretty much played video games the whole time, and I realized that over time we've really drifted apart in terms of interests and personality.
I'm mostly cooped up during winter, hopefully it'll warm up soon so I can relax and take my bike out for a few hours at a time.
