For the past 5 years I've always gone to a metal festival with my closest friends. But even though I'm really into the music, going to a festival appears to be more of a hassle to me than it is enjoyable. If it wasn't for the peer pressure of practicaly all the people I consider friends going, I probably wouldn't go at all. It's mainly the crowds, the extreme noise at the main stage, and the general lack of homy comforts on the camping grounds that annoy me. Are there any other festival goers here, and how do you prepare for handling these kind of things?
