Since I have no one to sit with in the high school cafeteria that I consider a friend, I sit alone. So, on Thursday I was sitting at a table with no one there. Then this person, who is a girl, named Milo walks up and asks what book I am reading. I answer and think she will leave me alone, but then she asks me to sit closer to her table. I don't know anyone at the table and I am horrible with initiating conversations with a person I don't know. So, the situation is very awkward on my part and then she randomly says we will be best friends. I think I should stay near the table, but I am not sure. Two questions, what should I do and have you ever met a person that was kinda like Milo?

Sounds like she's trying to be friendly. I would take her up on the offer.

Watch this person first to see if she is also alone. If so, take her up on her offer.
My son who is now 12 years old has a girl bud. It happened like that for him. He didn't trust her at first. After careful observation, he realized that they were the same way.
