I have found that #4 and #5 really helpful. When I'm stressed out or cannot find a solution to a problem, taking a quick nap makes all the difference.

As far as #9 is concerned, I found that works very well. I would do it when I was math tutor to help me understand the person and their thinking therefore what may be the problem in learning the material. Although I wouldn't mimic too much the other person, some people would find that rude and insulting.
