I currently work with a co-worker who claims to have ADHD and we seem to get along fine. She has called me a sister to her and her "Friend." I have also invited her to several things and she either says that she is going to come but never shows up or calls. She then backs me up with some excuse after the party stating that something came up and that she left her cell phone at home or she tells me that she cannot make it because she is busy with her husband who is in the military.

She also seems to be nice to my face and rip into other co-workers behind their backs and about how she does not like them. However, she is usually seen getting along with them and even going out to lunch or getting together with them outside of work. She recently did this to me last week by ordering me not to talk to another girl too much because it was slowing her down in her production levels because of the talking and didn't want her to get fired. So, the other co-worker showed up at work, and I told her what this other girl told me. I didn't say who it was either. Yet, this girl knew who it was and then went on to ask her what she said, but by then she twisted the truth around and told her that I was lying and listening in on her phone conversation. So, I have decided not to invite her to anymore things if a grown woman at age of 28 was going to act like a 16 year old trouble maker.

Theatrics and dramatics. There always seems to be at least one pot-stirrer in the office. YOU however are handling things well! 8)

I decided that I would be cordial to her but not get really close and every time she acts like a friend and rips into my about my other co-workers, I will simply say, "I don't know anything about that."
