i have a problem with hurting peoples feelings. i hate when someone says something hurtful to me and try to never intentionally hurt someone else. this is one reason why i tend to get along with females more than males. guys also tend to be masculine and feel the need to prove it whereas i'm more sensitive and compassionate.

anyways when i meet new friends who are women, i often tell them i don't want to date them and just want to be friends. even in a platonic friendship many women seem to continue to try to win my affection and basically try to make me like them when i just want to be friends with them.

can anyone give me any advice on how to make it more clear other than me saying "i'm not looking for a relationship and would rather just have friends right now" because i always say this and it never seems to register in their mind, normally causing the friendship to end. keep in mind i don't get intimate with any of them either.
