Especially "socializing".
Now that I know that and that everybody else is playing this game I won't feel guilty about playing it myself.
There's been a number of things I've realized from analyzing people's behavior.
One of the big obstacles is that:
1. Some social skills are used by NTs subconsciously without any awareness.
I'd say it was a lot more than some.

2. Paradoxically our society teaches us that conscious use of these skills is immoral/wrong/unethical or that anyone who does these things on purpose is a "jerk".
It depends upon what skills you are talking about, and what you are using them for. Smiling at someone because you want to put them at ease = okay in my book. Smiling at someone because you want to put them at ease and then take them for their money = not on.
It is confusing, but I don't know that there's much paradox to it.

But mainstream values and beliefs are largely the product of power struggles between various groups of people going back into ancient history, meaning the very formation of many social norms happened in a way most would recognize as "unethical" if they actually knew how they came to be, so for the most part we can throw away the taboos and do what we have to do to win.
Partially true. Depends on what 'win' means. Depends on the tradition. Some of them are useful. It's usually worth observing, understanding and respecting mainstream values, then doing whatever you feel you should do instead under appropriate circumstances. It's best to not make your values too at odds with others.

Furthermore it is a necessity for us to approach life as a game consciously since we are not endowed with the skills to let our instincts take care of it.
Not necessity, but using games as a model to understand life has a lot of merit. I sometimes see my life as an RPG. I have various stats that I can improve or neglect, I do things in the game and gain experience which makes me a more powerful 'character'. There are certain win and lose conditions that I seek or avoid. etc. etc.

Another point-Everything in the universe boils down at some level to material factors that can be analyzed. Including social interaction. Enough analysis and there's no reason we can't beat NTs at their own game. The only big stumbling block put up by society is that people are taught that "playing the game" is bad.
I do think that some aspies have the potential to be very very socially intelligent, it's just that we arrive at that intelligence by a different route.
