It's summer know and i thought it would be easier to find groups so i could try to make some friends and try to improve my social skills but i cant find anything and its annoying i've been going to a aspergers group for over a year but no body talks they all just want to play video games can any of you give me some advice on to how to make friends it would really be appercatied

It sounds like the AS group may not be a good place to start, as there is social activity in a way but not the kind you would ideally like for yourself.

You could always try hanging around with a family member to practice as they are more likely to be less judgemental and more supportive in your efforts to improve your social skills.

If you're 18 or older, you can also join meetup.com and look for a special interest group in your area.

Given a “tentative” diagnosis as a child as I needed services at school for what was later correctly discovered to be a major anxiety disorder.
