I'm in a weird position, sometimes I am very confident and will do crazy stuff and sometimes I am awfully shy. I don't know how to reach a middle point. I can be very random also.

I'm not scared of making a fool of myself in front of 1000 people but I'm too big a p*ssy to talk to a gorgeous girl in the presence of her friends.

I get very anxious one on one, especially with a woman I'm attracted to. However I can speak in front of large groups, like giving a eulogy or the best man's toast at a wedding. I still get anxious but it's not crippling, I can give an excellent speech.. From what I understand a large percentage of neurotypicals can't do public speaking at all.

I'm so unconfident it freaks people out. You would be terrified and shocked if you saw me.

I used to be like that. I'd make a fool out of myself and do stupid s**t to get attention, but I'd get so nervous around girls. Now I'm just super confident around girls. I talk to girls every chance I get, and I know how to get them to respond. If I see a couple cute girls that I know at my school, I'm not afraid to smile and give them a confident "Whats up ladies". I'm not afraid to go on a whim and tell a girl that she looks nice. And plus, I just talk to them. About anything. About how much I hate a certain class, or some band that we both like, or SOMETHING that we can both relate to.

Just be the cool guy. Be Fonzie. Be Wooderson from Dazed & Confused.

And be clever and funny. Make girls laugh. You got a girl laughing, you got a girl lovin. Spice up the conversation with a witty anectdote.

Good for you that you can do that. In my experience, I've never fancied a guy who made me laugh. But, that's just me..

Are you sure you're not getting confidence confused with intensity?

I am confident, but I don't know if it's my confidence that freaks people out or if it's something else.
