Personality clashes
What do you think are the main determinants of personality clashes? What are the main factors that would make for a personality clash between two people?
My personality is so unique and eccentric that I'm going to experience more personality clashes with others than what most people get, whether I like it or not. But in my case some determinants I notice are:
a) Irreverence. If people use a lot of banter, a lot of sarcasm, have a very dry or black sense of humour, it'll greatly increase the chance I find myself having a personality clash.
b) Narcissism. A complete opposite to my personality. I guess tying in with this is the question of whether the person is dominant or domineering. I'm thinking especially of previous work colleagues, in particular bosses, as a classic case.
Meanwhile when I look at the people I get on best with, and have become best friends with, if they're anything they're not a) or b). This should be taken as being independent of Asperger's, even though these friends are Aspies.
