Lostgirl told me to tell you guys that her computer is broken so she won't be able to talk for a little bit.

Hey, I'm still a yes. Yeah, my comp is broken so I have to communicate via the library now but I think we should probably know the final decision somewhere around next week.

Just letting people know I'm still the "yes based on the criteria of earlier in the thread".

Has there been a time set for this meeting? I know it's on August 18th at union station.

I'm yes , but it has to be tentative because if I feel like s**t that week and can't get out of bed then I need to be able to cancel (sorry about this....I know some aspies like to have really specific plans set in advance-know exactly how many people will meet with them- but I I'm on the verge of (staving off) a bout of depression ).

My guess would be sometime in the afternoon, around 1pm? As for end time, I think that's best left to the individual.

As for spotting each other, I'm horrible at face recognition so my suggestion would be to plan what you're going to wear and maybe also describe some general features (eg. height, hair color) which you can be spotted by. I have a black shirt that says "Aspie" with the symbol Pi and I could wear that. I'm also distinctively tall and have brown hair in a pixie cut.

I'm pretty good with face recognition. I've seen some of you before, so as long as I get one or two faces in the group beforehand, I'm good!! As for recognizing me, I don't know what I'm gonna wear, but I'll definitely be near MathGirl and identify that way.

I'll post my picture sometime before we go on this thread. Also, I'll tell you what I'm wearing when we go, maybe we should exchange cell numbers when the time arrives.

Just wanted to say that the 18th at 1 pm still works for me.

Are you all definitely meeting up on the 18th? Kinme and I might be coming through a week before, if anyone wanted to meet up around the 11th-12th... 18th would be too late though.

I could do that but I don't know how everybody else feels about that?

Perhaps we should have both dates running - come to whichever one you're able to (or both, if you can/want to). I found out recently I have another commitment on the 18th. I can do it, but it'd be pretty tight, and I don't think that would be fair to you guys! I'd prefer the 11th, but if you guys still stick with the 18th, I'll do my best to make both.
