Self-disapproved circumstances

I have a feeling that nobody I know can put up with certain circumstances if I disapprove of them.

For example, I really want some family time this weekend, but I am not getting any. My mother wants time to herself, she disagrees with the fact that I should spend time with her this weekend, and after all she is the one who said she didn't want to go out with me in the first place.

Does anyone else have this problem?
