After years, it seems like things eventually come together.

I just got back from Canada. And I had a great time. I had a lot of personal and spiritual growth. But that is not what I am here to talk about. I am here to talk about relationships.

I have been back in my hometown for like 4 years, and have gotten to know a few people, some to a point of getting together. It seems like the longer you know someone, the more likely you are going to be good friends. I noticed that when I was in Canada, that a person I had always liked (in a friend way) and now we are going to hang out. Same with another person. I met him at a homeschool get together, and at first nothing became of it, even tough we had a lot in common. But we then seen each other at another place, and we have been friends ever since. But I just wanted to point out this observation I made. Maybe it could give someone some hope, or maybe just another thing to keep in mind.

I am not saying everything is perfect, but I just wanted to post an observation. Perhaps someone could get some insight from it. It seems like, at least in small towns, it takes a few years to become really good friends. Look at people who went to school together. It takes time to bond. So when something comes in between that and you (in my case homeschooling and moving), it will be harder, but not impossible. So it will take getting used to a person. Just my 2 cents.
