Friends questions
How do you actually make friends personally? How do you not say stupid things? How do you always think before you speak? Can you ask for friends? Where do you search for friends? How do you initiate conversations properly? How do you talk to people and not feel like you're wasting their time? How do you become brave enough to make friends? What are true friends? What's the appropriate friendship code? Why are friends needed? Why does it sometimes hurt without ever having friends? Is it normal to always be alone? How do you cope when you have no friends? What if you finally made a friend, but you can't stand them yet they're the only friend you may ever have and you try to avoid them? How do you know if you're worth having friends? How do you know if someone is a friend? Is it normal being jealous because one friend spends more time with another friend? How do you not turn a friendship with the gender you're attracted to into love? Is it sometimes better to just not have friends at all? How can you tell they're your friend? What is being truly friendly like? Does being nice/friendly towards someone mean they could be your friend?
My response to questions:
***How do you actually make friends personally?***
I have made friends in the past by repetitious interaction (forced interaction through school or work)
***How do you not say stupid things?***
We all say stupid things from time to time, if an individual doesn't want a friendship based on the sole reason of you saying something stupid than that wouldn't be a good friend anyways
***How do you always think before you speak?***
Practicing this concept might help
*** Can you ask for friends?***
Sure although some people might get uncomfortable if you would just come out and say "Will you be my friend?" lol......If you ask someone (possible friend) to participate in an activity with you, that seems like it would be more acceptable
***Where do you search for friends?***
A good place to start would be to relate your friend search with an activity you find enjoyable
***How do you initiate conversations properly? ***
Usually a simple greeting like "Hello" and maybe followed by a comment about a mutually viewed event, sound, sight, smell (weather conditions, loud noise, traffic jam, etc etc etc).......ummm after that IDK lol
***How do you talk to people and not feel like you're wasting their time***
IDK lol
*** How do you become brave enough to make friends?***
Start out with small steps and work up once you feel comfortable
*** What are true friends?***
My definition of a true friend is someone that accepts you as the person you are and can listen to and accept feedback whether it is positive or negative
ok i'm done answering lol
