He(?) has angry eyebrows, but his tiny slit of a mouth looks a bit like a smirk.
I dunno, it's anime, half the time they show no real expression because their faces barely move. :P

Facial expressions are only meaningful in context, but without any context I would say this is a look of intense concentration with a bit of an evil glint in the eye and smirk to the mouth, yeah.

Looks like concentration. Seems natural since it also looks like a sharp edge was swung in the character's direction.

Pensive. It looks like he's thinking about something.

I agree....I actually did see that too but just chose one....so said angry.. because I thought the eyebrows were more telling. But now I revise my opinion taking the whole face into consideration........psycho killer evil maybe? As in he's about to attack and kill someone (hence the eyebrows) but he's kind of proud or excited about it (hence the mouth).

Edit: OP will you please give us context for this image......... if there is any? Is this from a movie or show or comic? What is the character doing before, during, after this image?

Vengeful?

I agree with the focus and anger, but can't think of a particular emotion that would go along with that.

Id say concentration - it looks like hes engaging someone in a staring contest.

That's what I thought as well.

becouse it is anime, and the character has some sort of sword in front of his face; i'd say it is some kind of sacracticly happy grin.
"finally i got you; i'm gonna enjoy this..."
