Don't believe that! You can find friends, and even if you don't feel like it now, you will almost certainly want to later. And when people stop trying to find, make, and keep friends, they get out of practice and they have a lot of trouble later. Always keep trying. It's not like dating, which is very nice but not vital; friends are ESSENTIAL all the time, and you are truly missing out on life if you don't have any.
Families don't keep company 24/7, even with their children. And how do you expect to ever get a family if you don't have any friends? Don't just accept that you'll be lonely forever. You can fill at least part of the void with friends, and if you're together for long enough, they will become like family.
And don't stop at one friend. You need multiple friends for this to be fixed. A mistake that a lot of people like us make is putting all our hopes into one person...
Why is there no "like" button? Great post.
