If you think somebody is weird does that mean you do not like them?

Or is there a difference?

You can like someone you find weird. It often means that you don't like someone though, or that you at least criticize them at that point.

The people I like are different in some way or other, but if I describe someone as weird it's not a positive characterization of the person.

No, I had friends that were weird.

In my experience, making myself as boring as possible makes many more people like me.

Context please. I could read your post more than one way, and it would be a large difference.
