Meetup in Germany?

Hi all, I posted this in the foreign languages section as well, but thought it might be worth posting here.

I'm moving to Germany in October and I barely know anyone there, so am trying to find out if there would be people keen to take part in a meetup. I'll be moving to Münster (NRW), but I guess it might make more sense to hold the event in a bigger city. In terms of dates, I was thinking about some time after the 15th of October to give me time to get my bearings (AFAIK, I am arriving on the 4th or 5th).

Let me know either in this thread or via private message if you are interested (Deutsch ist auch OK) - I am willing to organise, make arrangements and keep in touch with people to co-ordinate if required. All in aid of making even one friend.
