I was wondering if anyone here experiences the same thing? Ive joined forums before and I use Facebook, I dont have any friends in person because i cant cope with the interaction so the only socializing i do is online, but even responding and talking online causes me anxiety and distress. Lots of times I just stare at the screen not knowing how to respond to someone. Making friends is just so hard, even when a screen separates people. Does anyone else go through this?

Yes, I experience this all the time. When someone messages me on facebook or texts me I usually don't respond or I painfully try to make conversation. I especially dislike when people reach out to me and then don't hold up the conversation. It usually goes like this:
Them: "hey, how are you doing?" Me: "I'm doing good, you?" Them: "No complaints here" Me: "I'm glad." .... and then it's done.

I usually only chat with people when I know I have news to share or else the convo will die down pretty quickly with me.

I thought it was normal for aspies to not be good at chit chat?
