I think I made a post about this a long time ago but its not around anymore. I wanted to read the old post responses while I sit here getting paid and wasting my life away.

Does anyone as a A.S person find themselves too weird for normal people, yet at the same time seem to attract all the shit-bat crazy people who no one would wants to be near even with a baseball bat in hand? That seems to be my problem, too weird for normal people, but I am just normal enough that I can't stand to be around the weird, the weirder and the crazy.

I heard a quote that states: " We may not be able to choose our family, but thank god we can choose our friends.

Yes! Mentally unbalanced people make a bee-line for me. But regular, normal people who aren't attention seekers or who aren't mentally unstable don't have any time for me.

Wouldn't that be a wonderful, being able to choose friends. I find I just get ignored by people I like and avoid people who want my attention.

You can't win.

Yeah, I'm completely unlikable, but thankfully I do not attract the crazies either.

Who can stand that? I certainly can't.

I attract strange people, but they're not the kind of strange people who are cruel and uncaring towards me. Those ones started disappearing the instant I put my foot down and stopped being guilted, pressured, etc, especially online.

I know that if someone with issues comes to me and one of the first things between us is a demand for me to type faster when the response time is under two minutes that it's not going to end well. Complaints about how they just wanted to talk and will never have a friend seal the deal as someone who'd push and pull my emotions at every turn for their own benefit. A younger me or other people might feel bad and try to please them.

My quote is from the old Jimmy Stewart film Harvey. It's a fab film.

When I was younger I used to try and please these people too, but if you put your foot down they don't like it because they can't manipulate you any more and they can't go to you to fill their attention seeking need.

I've been bumped from two good jobs precisely because of my strangeness. I can't stand the lower end jobs because of the crazy trailer trash sort of people who staff them. It seems I can never win, I seem to keep getting fired from a job with normal people and I end up working with the Devil's rejects.
