Being used

I am highly susceptible to being used, but at the same time I am also very good at using people. It's a really strange combination. Is this a normal trait for an aspie?

How are you good at using people? Like in manipulating them?

If they piss me off I pursue them and work behind their back to undermine them, and take anything I can from them when it is offered with no pity. Not quite as good as they are, but still at least good at getting even and convincing them I'm still their friend after I find out they're screwing me over. It's weird and hard to explain.

Hmm. I think I understand. I'm also curious if this is a common trait among aspies.

On a side note, I manipulate people occasionally, if I think it's for their own good... Like if my friend were in a bad relationship, I might trick them into realizing it. Sometimes I trick people into giving me what I want too, but I try not to take it far enough that it could hurt someone. I rarely bother with revenge, I feel like it's not worth my time.

I actually use my big evil power for good, too. Glad to see I'm not the only one who tries to balance the bad with the good in terms of manipulating people. Though if I am so good at manipulating, then why am I so easily manipulated? It usually only happens with people I'm attached to.

Me too, actually. I guess I trust them too much.

i'm not very assertive so i end up being walked on a lot. mostly it's lazyasses asking me to copy their homework.
i don't think i'd be very good at using other people. i haven't tried it out, and i have no reason to.

I'm like this too, though I let my guard down around people I like as it can be mentally draining to keep assuming that everyone has an ulterior motive in the things they do and say.
