Do your parents allow you here? I would think if they do you could get permission to join elsewhere and proceeding without permission might mess up your privileges.

But it also depends how much freedom you're normally allowed and whether they normally let you do what you want.

I don't think lying is a good idea.

Have you asked why you are restricted by your parents, there might be a good reason depending on your age.

My advice is that it is better to ask about a rule and be honest rather than to break it behind their backs and then catch hell when you get caught.
