Holiday party upcoming

Well, gang, the month of November is coming to an end so we're well and truly into the Holiday season. One week from this coming Saturday, my YUP Meetup group will be joining forces with several other Meetup groups to host their annual Holiday party. (SIDEBAR: This was to have been my second such party, but a snowstorm the night of the event last year kept me home.)

Any advice on this once-yearly experience?
