Recently at school, a lot of boys in my grade have been attempting to be my friends. But they usually bug me over and over again. Why are they doing this? What can I do?

can you give some examples of this "bugging"?

cracking jokes at each others' expense is what NT male 'friends' do, just another thing you just have to accept.

Yes, please give examples.

It could be that they think you're interesting because of something you can do or something you like that they also like. You could be saying things that they think are funny or cool. Many aspies say things that neurotypicals think are awesome, even though it might not make sense to the aspie.

They could possibly be trying to tease or make fun of you, but they probably would have given up already if that were the case.
