anybody good at understanding the ques of this, people seem to do it just before people have gotten to the point in a sentance and its really confussing me alot. im tryying to tell people things and they are all like; yeah, right, okay sure, before i've even gotten to the point! argggggggghhhhhhhhh

Discounting everything you're trying to say is a subtle form of bullying. They are giving you the cue that nothing you say matters to them. :? Sorry about that.... of course it's making you feel bad.

Sometimes people do this if the speaker takes a painfully long time to get to the point. Some aspies can be especially bad about including lots of nonessential detail when telling a story, for example.

its not just me they seem to do it with everyone, and it's so confussing, they'll be like "i'm going to go to the-" "YEAH" "-bathroom"
it's really confussing because it's like they almost get to the end of what they are sayying or before they get to the point and someone steps in with a yeah out of the blue...
someone told me the implied meanings of the yeah being a sign of encouragement for the speaker to continue talking are what is happening, but aspies and implied meanings can be confussed???
