There is a lady in my colony with whom i talk sometimes but she always
tries to stir the conversation towards Christianity, christ and asking me
to attend prayer tower and pray.

i am a hindu and find this conversation weird she knows i am low
on confidence so delibrately she presses me towards this confidence
and i am not able to give her back.

how to tackle this lady

You don't. It's as simple as that. You cannot reason with the overly religious. If they're going to preach to you ignore them, it's not your responsibility to cater to their agenda. They either accept you as you are or they don't.

Christians do not get a seat in heaven by preaching to someone. They do this because they believe that being a Christian is good for you, and would free you of religious burdens.

I would just honestly state to her 'I appreciate your friendship but I am Hindu. I will not be changing and am not interested in discussions about your religion. I respect that you have faith in your religion. Please respect that I have faith in mine.' And if she can't do that, then avoid her and if she asks why, plainly tell her she has alienated you because she doesn't respect you.

It's an issue of respect, not an issue of religion. Plenty of religious folks can respect others who do not share their beliefs. One of my closest friends is a Jehovah's Witness, who are very well known for 'witnessing' their beliefs to others. She hasn't mentioned it once in a year unless I ask her, because she respects her friends may believe differently to her.

Yeah, I doubt that. Religious people really do tend to get it in their heads that their way is the one true way and they want all their pals to 'enjoy the fruits' of the 'good news' they have found. It is very frustrating. I don't think you're anymore a loser than any of the rest of us, which may not actually help you feel better. ;)

Simple.
You say " do you respect me?"
she says ' yes'
you say " i am Hindu and have no interest in Christ. As a matter of respect to my faith pls do not ask me again about the christian meetings."
she says 'but you need christ to save you, blah, blah, blah'
you say " I have given my final answer. Do not speak to me again about your christ"

besides, the Hindu tradition pre-dates Xtianity by several millennia

the nonsense that her relatively new religion/tradition is somehow 'better' than your, is racist bullsh*t.

I have studied the Hindu tradition and it is just as valuable as any other set of religious/spiritual ideas

this woman is arrogant in the supposed superiority of her beliefs....her ideas are no better than yours

Namaste to you, Namaste. :D
Aum.

Understand something about Christians: we mean the best. Some have no clue that they are overstepping-- I wish they would see it! I have Asperger's and I can see when someone isn't open! Please try to be merciful to this lady. She most likely is alarmed by the idea that you are on a path away from eternal life, and would like to help you get on the path to it. This in itself, if you think about it, is a caring thing, even if you don't want to be approached about it. I see it this way: she only should have addressed this subject once. If you were not open, then she could have let you know that she would be available to discuss it if you wished in the future. I agree that she needs to honor your choice and not push. After all, we believe that God Himself gave you free will; it is your own choice whether or not you will come to belief in Christ.

Dear Namaste, you are not a loser. You deserve as much love and respect as those around you. We are all special in some way. I'm glad to see you here: it's been a while since I saw any of your posts.

If she's a real friend to you then she will understand if you don't want to discuss the issue with her and will still talk to you. She should rather then respect that and keep the matter between herself and her God.

Explain to her that harassing you about it and pulling the you have to believe in it or you will go to hell card is not making her religion or her values look good to her and that she is doing a subpar job of representing Christian beliefs and ethics by arguing that. I would be as tactful as possible but this may need to be the solution in this case.

Christians who prioritize the idea that following Christ is critical primarily to avoid Hell are doing the biggest disservice possible to their religion. Many of them pressure others to accept it and say if you don't accept him today and get hit by a bus today, you go to hell. This arguments do not make them look good in the slightest and are in fact a key contributor to the rise of atheism across the country, especially among younger generations. If she understands this, it might improve the situation drastically.

Preach right back at her, try to convert her to Hinduism 8)
I found it interesting to learn that Hinduism has the same roots as the polytheistic religions in Europe, the Gods of the Romans, Greeks and Germans.

Hinduism is several millennia older than 'the polytheistic religions in Europe, the Gods of the Romans, Greeks and Germans.'
To say that they have the same roots is quite a stretch and I respectfully disagree with the characterization.
