Okay, I'm in college, but I have no clue how to make good friends. I talk to people, but I don't know what else to do. No one invites me to anything, and even my so-called friends barely talk to me. What should I do?

Well I sort of know how to find people to hang out with, but how to make real/good friends....not so sure as I did not really do that when I was in college. I now have what I would consider good friends or at least decent acquaintances, but I didn't meet them on my own.

Find clubs and social groups to do things with. I don't feel like I really have close friends but if I want to find an activity to be involved in I find some sort of group that I can join

Whatever you do...don't give up, as the posters above said look for clubs you might be interested in and go to group related outings like sports games or rallies you might find them loud and obnoxious but try making connections there because those people obviously do other things then hang out at games and it's just a good place to meet people, in my opinion it beats walking up to someone randomly in the quad or at the library.

I will also say look for clubs based on your interest/major. Another way is through classes in your major, where other students with the same major are required to take those courses. Both of these are how I was able to meet people/make friends at Community College and now University.
