I have recently come to the conclusion that I don't actually have friends. I have depression and Asperger's and I have very few friends due to these facts and the fact that I was bullied from a veerry young age, recently my 'best friend' went to jail and ever sinse he has been out I have just wished he was back in.... Things were alot better before he was sent down and just as good when he was inside :( I know they are talking about me... I know they are scheming... So sick, so tired, just can't deal with it... Does anyone else have feelings like this or 'friends' like this?

There are lots of people who are nice to me when they see me, but who otherwise seem to forget all about me when I'm not around. This includes relatives, co-workers, neighbors, and people at church.

Do they count?

I would say so... :( I just don't understand it?! Like why be so sh***y to me (and it only seems to be me) and be sound with like 98% of everyone else... I always have to go to my 'friends' they never come see me. They make plans and keep me out of the loop and never include me in conversations even why they recap infront of me and even mention me! ADHD is not a reason to make your supposed 'best mate' feel this small . you know :( I probably will never be able to understand or cope with it.

Those are not friendships. They are "situationships". Real friends think about you when you're not around, and demonstrate that they do so, usually by communicating with you in-between the times you are involved in your joint activity.

I have many "situationships" and only a couple of real friendships. 3-4 would probably be the max I could handle, anyway. It seems very hard to find the right person who will be a real friend.

I only have one friend, I used to have two but he let me off for his douchebaggy NTs. I don't know whats wrong with him, we were friend since at least 4th grade then suddendly he decides to find excuses to avoid being with me, such as "I have lots of homework, I sure can see you this weekend or on friday". Then when I call him friday, his father tells me he's sleeping, even though its only 6:00pm. When I call him during weekend, he's always with "other friends".
