Dealing with fall out
Hi:
I most recently had a falling out with a guy who I had known for over a year back in May during an anime and video game convention. Long story short I had been rooming with them but felt that it was not the best fit for me which was in the middle of the convention. For one thing I just was not getting along with my friend and his friends. So I ended up moving to different room with another friend of mine. I didn't say anything to anyone and just switched over.
I still owe this person money for my share of the room which I am planning on doing in the form of installments. Two things though
1. This friend never came forward to me about it and attempted to ask another friend of mine who was not involved in the room and not interested in otherwise for the money.
2. What would be the best way for me to pay him back? I don't want anything to do with him or really talk to him. I thought about paying him back snail mail.

Snail mail is good or just confront him and get it over with.

I don't think I've ever used snail mail in my life lol.
It would be kind of weird if he got the money from someone else while your money was traveling to him via snail mail.
do you have his email address?
i think it would be a good idea to tell him that you do plan on paying him at least before-hand.
edit: also if you both have paypal accounts, that would probably be the quickest most efficient way to do it.
I sent him a text a while back and asked for his mailing address. I also said that I would pay him in the form of installments.
As for confronting him I did send him and email back in June by letting him know that his actions as the convention while at the hotel and con floor were inexcusable. He has not bothered to acknowledge the email or appear to apologize.
I also have not yet had the chance to confront him about going behind my back and asking another friend for money who was not even involved.
