I'm curious to know: What is it like (for NTs or otherwise) to be on the receiving end of someone with poor social skills?

Do you kind of just tolerate it?

Do you feel like you have to do extra work?

I guess for me, having grown up an Aspie, I seek out the weird and introverted people to befriend... But I can get hung up trying to figure out their version of imperfect nonverbal communication.

Like anything of worthwhile value you have to dig a bit deeper than the surface. Its hardly fitting for the majority of people to judge someone solely on their first encounter. Being an aspie and a logos I prefer to make more practical assessments of people after actually getting to know and observe them. It can be a bit of extra work at times to deal with people of our position, but in the end it can be very much worth the extra effort :)
