I have 2 good friends a "gaming friend" Not much on the life help area stresses but likes Mario I like Mario. Then a "TRUE friend!" Not "gaming" But I talk to her about buying games but HELPS 100% with life issues ALOT! and I see parallels in both of us we are even about the same height and weight LOL! This "True friend" I can talk/ask ANYTHING! She has been very emotional lately so I was worried OMG! what if you are dealing with depression! I also dug around Sherlock like and found out where she worked/income detective work LOL! and she didn't mind! My view on criminals is different I don't follow the media OMG! going to war nonsense and she agrees!

Not sure I can ever find a 2nd "True friend" yet am wondering do you have friends for multiple reasons? I'm on a theme park message board and have annual passes and some people suggested meeting people from the board! To me that seems weird! Since they may be local or annual pass holders I know nothing about them unlike this gaming friend and True friend person. Plus will they take kindly to my criminal justice beliefs or believe WW3 is coming? SHEESH!

Maybe make new friends and talk 100% rides leave "life" other topics out of it? But uhm? I pour my soul into my friends they know everything about me and sadly that freaks out NTs. :-( Any tips?

Having friends for different interests is a fine illustration of the sayings:

"Variety is the Spice of Life."

"Different Strokes for Different Folks."

Yeah...they are both clichés.....but they are true clichés.

I think it is good that you have friends. :) Do not worry. A real friend would not be freaked out by your issues.

I have friends, but no close friends. I keep them at a distance on purpose. I have a friend who I hang out with from time to time. I also have friends in my major.
