We met in school but have graduated since then but a mutual friend keeps us in touch basically. Just last week he told me that she wanted me to start texting her again. We texted back in January but she took forever to respond most of the time so I just gave up. Obviously I was happy to hear that she didn't forget about me so I texted her a few days later. It has been four days now and she hasn't responded, which is a long time even for her. She always texted back within one day. I am starting to get nervous that she doesn't like me or even that my friend made it up just to get me to try again with her. I don't know if I should send another text and the anxiety of talking to my crush is even worse than when I sent the first text. Right now I am just planning on telling my friend in a few days that I texted her and she didn't respond. I hope that he will tell her that so she knows that I am still interested and made an effort to contact her.
