Though I have a current position, I was offered a job back in March by a former supervisor who was really sketchy with me the first time and I was hesitant but willing to give it another go. This time I would be doing some admin type work so I went to meet with them and long story short they strung me along when I would begin by postponing the start date twice with fishy stories about fishy setbacks.
1. There is inflation right now
2. My former supervisor is going on vacation so it was better to wait until June.
I decided not to take the position and sent an email in a letter of rejection in which he did not bother to acknowledge or respond to. As it got closer to the said date, I just grew very frustrated with their unprofessionalism and their empty promises like the did the first time I worked there and did research on how to confront employers who make and break promises. As a result, I wrote him a memo and got a very rude response.
1. That's not a good letter
2. I am sorry that you are frustrated but that's not an email that my associate and I should read
The thing is, I feel they are expecting me to have a nice response to their games and I can't.
